Artist Hive Studios hosts a range of events and activations during the Enjoy Enfield Summer Festival. Over the Bank Holiday weekend the studios and its artists will stage a series of events and happenings throughout Fore Street and at its creative hub on Pretoria Road North.
LIVE ART PAINTING WITH KING OWUSU

Creative Owusu draws inspiration from the world around him. Absorbing references from his family, friends, school and city, his work is reflective of what he perceives around him. Illustration has enabled Owusu to deconstruct the world as he sees it, resembling it from his own perspective. Join us at Artist Hive Studios to see the artwork develop. POETRY TAKEOVER - WORDS MEET ART

31st August Poetry activations 2-4pm
From 29th August discover a series of poetry inspired takeovers along Fore Street. Artist Hive Studios will have several QR activated posters in various shops in Enfield, where you will be able to discover special collaborations with local poets Mary Duggan and Keith Mowatt paired with artists Lana Hughes, Benjamin Thomas Taylor and Ratio. Download, listen and repeat. Stay tuned for an art mural 'A Place We Call Home' that will transform the wall by The White Horse Pub on Fore Street.
Join Artist Hive Studios at their main site on 81a Pretoria Road North, N18 1SP on 29-31 to discover an art installation and live painting by resident artist King Owusu.
On 31st August Artist Hive Studios will be holding a series of live poetry from 2-4pm. With local poets Mary Duggan and others to be announced.
ART CROSSING
From the 17th August
Artist Hive Studios art crossing is inspired by the technological and manufacturing heritage of the Edmonton area. Paying homage to the first solid-state colour televisions that were manufactured by Ferguson Plant and supplied to British households. The vibrant colours of the crossing refer to the iconic BBC test cards, and the structural grid also references the architecture of the Regal Cinema built in 1934. Paying homage to motion pictures, time based media and the birth of visual communications in the area.
