During this unprecedented period of isolation and lockdown, we've teamed up with EFG Art Ltd to launch @FromStudioLockdown; a project that seeks to document art being produced throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our lives have been unexpectedly and radically changed. With art fairs and exhibitions cancelled or postponed, museums and galleries closed and some artists unable to get to their studio, it has never been so important to support the creative sector. Our project aims to provide an exchange platform for artists, a virtual place for sharing creative visions, an opportunity to make new connections which then culminates in a post-pandemic physical exhibition to celebrate resilience. @FromStudioLockdown intends to bring people together using humour, poetry and irony at a time of confinement and social distancing.
@FromStudioLockdown is an ongoing international open call to artists and creatives to share their experiences of daily life in lockdown. How has the lockdown affected their work? Have they adapted their creative process? Have they started something new or are they struggling to find inspiration or motivation? Using the hashtag #fromstudiolockdown artists have been sharing work made in isolation and the project has a global reach.

@FromStudioLockdown wants to signify a message of hope, of positive reflection, an opportunity for innovation, articulated and spread through the universal language of visual arts. At the end of the lockdown, a pop-up exhibition will showcase selected works chosen by a panel of industry experts. There will be a host of prizes including, £500 for first prize, £250 Great Art voucher for art materials and an opportunity for a solo exhibition at our studio space in North London.
