In this online class Sarah Emily Porter shows us how to think about colour in a different way using a completed Sudoku to map out the composition. Sarah Emily Porter works from her East London studio where she explores colour and the historical context of painting. Inspired by architecture, interior design and geometry, she maps carefully considered mathematical systems and orders to form a framework for the production of her paintings which are often tilted and poured on specially made wooden frames.
